I'm a licensed FAA UAS (Unmanned Aircraft System) Pilot with Part 107 FAA credentials. Unlike recreational fliers, as a commercial aerial pilot I am permitted by the FAA to capture stunning photography and videography that can be used commercially and legally. I live and work in Northeast Ohio.
Restricted Airspace: As a fully licensed Remote Pilot In Command, I have access to restricted airspace, which is not available to non-certified pilots providing flexibility for drone operations. If you look at an aerial chart of NE Ohio, a large part of the area is controlled airspace!
Weather Assessment and Aerial Restrictions: Recreational fliers do not understand what is required in terms of flying commercially. There is a lot more to it then just take off and landing.
Increased safety: The Part 107 license ensures that I have the knowledge and skills necessary to fly safely. This can help reduce the risk of accidents and incidents.
